matter expertise in the assessment, specification, design and implementation
of enterprise voice or 9-1-1 systems including telephones, broadband voice/data
networks, radio and mission critical IP transport .

Skilled in the assessment, specification, design
and implementation of enterprise voice or 9-1-1 systems including telephones,
broadband voice/data networks, radio and mission critical IP transport
Knowledge
Approximately five years successful and documented
work experience in the assessment, specification, consultation and implementation
of enterprise voice, data, ESInet, or 9-1-1 systems.
Proven and comprehensive knowledge of technical
standards that apply to the concept of
“Next Generation 9-1-1” (NG9-1-1); this includes NENA i3, ATIS/ESIF, IETF,
etc. Should have significant practical experience in the application of
technical standards to real-world features and functions.
Proven and comprehensive knowledge of operational
standards that apply to the concept of
NG9-1-1; this includes NENA i3, APCO, ATIS/ESIF, etc.
Recognition and understanding of Public Safety
communications applications and operational impact.
Knowledge of federal, state and local agency
activities related to 9-1-1.
Expectations
- Remain current on industry and legislative
changes related to 9-1-1; assess impact to clients
- Work with and support technical staff and
project managers on projects
- Lead and participate in the development
of reports, analyses, and project presentations
- Develop project scope, roles, responsibilities
and detailed implementation plans
- Coordinate resources an project deliverables
to meet client needs
- Coordinate deliverables and project assignments
reflecting client requirements
- Assure quality of project deliverables and
client satisfaction
- Serve as subject matter expert and project
lead for clients
- Lead procurement processes including technical
RFP, RFQ activities
- Leadership and strategic implementation
for traditional and non-traditional 9-1-1 delivery services
- Support negotiation with clients to adjust
and amend scope of services, procurement and budgets
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to fulfill
project requirements
- Perform onsite surveys of existing systems
and organizations with an emphasis on
data-gathering and potential system improvement, cost reduction, and operational
efficiencies
- Prepare technical reports; present findings
and options to clients
- Share technical knowledge and expertise
with peers—exchanging ideas, concepts, and processes that create a strong
team approach to problem-solving and client solutions
- Provide positive client relations, working
with them as partners to develop long-term and meaningful relationships
that are beneficial to them—and to our firm
- Assure the quality of client deliverables

channel sales professional. This individual should have at a minimum
3 to 5 years of successful public safety sales experience along with proof
of consistent quota attainment. The position will require travel 60-80%
within their assigned territory (WA, OR, CA, AZ, CO). Working from
a virtual office this person must reside in their territory.
Company
offers a competitive base salary and benefits, along with paid MBO's and
sales commissions. Total compensation at plan is well above $100K.
